A few weeks ago, we told you about the Never Ending Pasta Pass from Olive Garden. The purchase entitled the holder to all of the pasta, salad, breadsticks, and soft drinks he can drink for the next seven weeks. As I pointed out at the time:

Cost is $100. Doing the quick math…if you have lunch and dinner at Olive Garden every one of the available days, you’re only paying about $1 per meal (plus tip!).

What a deal, right? But one man, a man named Vino, is trying to improve on the cost-per-meal average. He's planning to have breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day at Olive Garden and will be recording his thoughts and observations at his website, "All Of Garden".

On September 8th, I purchased a Pasta Pass, and immediately realized my life's goal. For the 49 days of Olive Garden's Never Ending Pasta Bowl™, I will consume nothing but food obtained through that fine establishment. On this site, I will document my journey - the friendships I create and destroy, the changes my body goes through as it adjusts to a purely carbohydrate-based diet, reviews of each and every one of the 150+ combinations of pasta, sauce, and toppings - and so on.

As Vino reviews the meals, each one also gets named. Like Rocket Jump (which sounds delicious), Bunny Hop, and Penne Loafer.

I wish him luck in his journey, though I don't even want to think about what a seven-week, carb-heavy diet will do to a body. I guess we'll find out!
