New Rockford Beer Raises Money for United Way
For the third year in a row Prairie Street Brewhouse has teamed up with Woodward Governor in Rockford to create a limited edition beer to help raise money for local charities.
The initiative is called "Pints for a Purpose", and this year's limited edition beer is an IPA called "Monkey Wrench". Fifty cents from every pint of Monkey Wrench purchased at Prairie Street Brewhouse will be donated to the United Way of Rockford to aid our community members in need.
Great! Now I have an even greater excuse to drink more beer this holiday season. I have to, because I need to support my community. Think that excuse is valid?
