In the May edition of ‘Ask the Mayor,’ Rockford Mayor Larry Morrissey and Michael Koolidge discussed a recent vote by the Winnebago County Board on a resolution to oppose any RHA plan to build a public housing project on Rockford's east side.

The RHA is reportedly considering a plan to build a 70-unit complex on South New Towne Drive, just off East State Street.

In this highlight clip, the Mayor says he was surprised by the Board's vote, calling it "fear mongering at its worst.":
