After the "wave" election of 2010 and a decent showing in 2012, there are not many districts across the country that have the potential to flip from Democrat to Republican control this November. However, we have at least three of them right here in Illinois.

In the 10th District, Bob Dold is trying to win back the seat he lost to Brad Schneider. In the 17th District, Bobby Schilling is set for a rematch with Cheri Bustos. And far downstate, current Illinois State Rep. Mike Bost is trying to knock off the incumbent Bill Enyart.

Bost joined "Riley & Scot" this week to talk about his bid for the IL-12 seat and explained why his passion is an asset in the campaign. We also asked him why he decided to throw his hat in the ring this year:

I've got nine grandkids and I could have sat back and said, "Never mind, let someone else handle it." Or I could go try to argue the point that what our forefathers put in place when they created the Constitution and this great country. And the ability of each voter to have an impact has got to be fought for. We decided that it was definitely time to run.
