Meet Some of the People Who Make Downtown Rockford Unique

As I've mentioned in a previous post, our friend Andrea Mandala from the Rockford Area Convention and Visitors Bureau (RACVB) joins the WROK Morning Show each Friday morning to give you a look at some of the great things Rockford has to offer all year round. Today, since we've been hitting some really hot temperatures, I thought we'd cool off a bit and do a little Throwback Thursday tribute to one of the RACVB's most enjoyed and talked-about events: Stroll on State.

This video, "Stroll on State 2015-Our City, Our Story," posted a week ago on the RACVB's YouTube channel, is a really well-done piece, directed by Pablo Korona, in which you'll meet some of the people who worked behind the scenes to make Stroll on State 2015 such a resounding success. Their stories are compelling and interesting, and Pablo's direction gives Rockford's downtown a really cool look. Plus, take a look around the various scenes to see how many of your friends and neighbors make cameo appearances:
