It seems like every year we hear a story like this as spring gets underway.

A bee attack during a baseball game near Salt Lake City left one man in the hospital after he was stung more than 300 times. Thankfully, the AP reports the man didn't exhibit any signs of a severe reaction, and was alert and talking to emergency responders.

A local TV station identified the man as Jay Francis. Francis says the ER told him they pulled out at least 300 stingers from his body. His son was stung dozens of times while trying to help out.

Players and umpires were chased from the field as the bees emerged from one of the dugouts. Fire crews ended up doused the dugout area with a chemical foam to alleviate the situation.
