Don't get me wrong, I love the Rock Men statues next to the Rock River, but I love these trolls much more.

Danish artist Thomas Dambo, along with over 60 volunteers, constructed 6 giant trolls that are now scattered throughout Morton Arboretum in Lisle, Illinois. These twenty-foot statues were made entirely of reclaimed and recycled wood and with trees from the arboretum.

The Morton Arboretum trolls will be on display starting June 22 and hopefully for at least a year or until the wood starts to break down and is no longer safe. Morton Arboretum is located 4100 Illinois Route 53 in Lisle, Illinois.
