Kirsten Powers on How the Left is Killing Free Speech [AUDIO]

USA Today columnist and Fox News contributor Kirsten Powers joined us on the show this week to discuss her new book, The Silencing: How the Left is Killing Free Speech.

Powers is a life-long liberal Democrat but says she is deeply concerned with the emergence of the “illiberal left” and the threat they pose to our longstanding tradition of free speech and respect for different ideological views. Powers tells us the illiberal left repeatedly attempts to shut down debate on the most important issues Americans face today. The Silencing is filled with countless examples of effort to discredit and delegitimize ideological opponents.
