The Hugh Hewitt Show welcomed two more potential 2016 candidates to his show Tuesday night on WROK, as Ohio Gov. John Kasich and former Texas Gov. Rick Perry stopped by to chat.

The conversation with Gov. Kasich was lengthy and wide-ranging. It served to reinforce my view that Kasich is most volatile potential 2016 candiate. If he enters the race it could be a boom or total bust. He has a command of the issues and a great story to tell of what's been happening in Ohio. That said, there's no doubt his support for Medicaid expansion in his state and Common Core will rub some the wrong way.

Kasich made some news last night by telling Hugh Hewitt he is "totally opposed" to the legalization of marajuana:

You can read the full transcript and hear the comeplete audio at Hugh's website. Kasich also blasted nation-building policies and would not endorse the Iraq War:

Meanwhile, Gov. Perry told Hewitt he 'probably would' attend a same-sex marriage:

Perry was answering what Hugh calls a “meta media question”: What matters more: knowing if a candidate for the presdency would attend a gay wedding or whether he or she would destroy the Islamic State before it throws thousands of gay men to their deaths from towers?

Again, you can listen to the full interviews and find the transcripts at Hugh’s website. And you can catch Hugh Hewitt’s show weeknights from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. on WROK.
