Every year, a suburban Chicago farm carves a new maze into its cornfields with a unique twist. Last year Siegel's Cottonwood Farm in Lockport Township featured the Blackhawks logo.

This year, it's a display to honor famous sniper, the late Chris Kyle:

The maze carving features a skull design donned by Navy SEAL Team 3, of which Kyle was a part of.

Above the skull are the words “CHRIS KYLE,” and the word “HERO” is on the skull.

Flanking the design from the left and right are the words “AMERICAN” and “SNIPER” in honor of the 2014 movie “American Sniper.” The movie was based off Kyle’s 2012 memoir of the same name.

Kyle was killed in 2013 by a fellow Marine veteran who he was helping cope with post-traumatic stress disorder.

Not too shabby, right? The corn maze is located at 17250 Weber Road in Lockport and will open on September 26.
