This is certainly one of the strangest software glitches I've seen in quite a while. Here's how to fix this issue until Apple releases a fix.

Apple's latest iOS update has a bug, that Apple has acknowledged and are working on an update, but who knows how long until that update will be released.

Have you had this problem pop up? Every time you type the letter "I" it turns into an "A" followed a couple spaces later with a question mark in a box.

Here's what you can do to fix the problem until Apple releases an iOS update, according to bgr.com.

  • Go to Settings > General > Keyboard > Text Replacement
  • Tap +
  • In the Phrase field, type an uppercase “I”
  • In the Shortcut field, type a lowercase “i”

If that didn't work, you'll just have to wait until Apple releases an iOS update.
