Jack Woods is a National Radio Hall of Famer who started his career on WROK back in the early 1960s. He later would form the "Charlie & Harrigan" duo in 1962 at KLIF in Dallas. According to the HOF's website, the station owner teamed up Woods, using the name “Charlie Brown,” and Ron Chapman, a.k.a. “Irving Harrigan,” for a two-man show.

They later would work in Cleveland, San Diego and Washington, D.C., and also sold their show to more than 40 stations nationwide by utilizing pre-recorded segments specifically tailored to each market.

Woods passed away in March of this year.

Thanks to his son, Bo, we have an opportunity to hear Jack as he started his career on WROK. based on the music played in this segment, it appears the aircheck is from 1961:
