Gender Neutral Bathrooms Now in Harlem High School

Transgender students now have access to gender neutral bathrooms at Harlem High School in Machesney Park.

Students at Harlem High School noticed something different when they returned to school this week.

Certain bathrooms near the gym are now gender neutral.

It should come as no surprise that there are varied opinions on whether or not gender neutral bathrooms should be allowed in schools at all.

Some are very encouraging of the idea, others find it as a disgrace.

According to WTVO, this isn't the first move Harlem High School has made to support their teens. Harlem High School has started a gender equality program as well.
