Have you ever seen a flashing yellow arrow when driving? Do you know what a flashing yellow arrow means? Winnebago County residents will soon see them popping up on traffic signals in the very near future.

Janesville, Peoria, and other areas of the country have them, but they will be new to most of the Stateline. The State o Michigan has had these signals in place since 2010.  WREX-TV is reporting that the flashing yellow left  turn signals will be installed at the following two intersections in the county.

  • Guilford Road and Perryville Road
  • Forest Hills Road at Pepper Drive/River Lane

It has not been announced yet as to when the new signals will be installed, but here is what they mean
