Employers Recruiting During Workforce Development Week

Governor Bruce Rauner has declared this week to be "Workforce Development Week" here in Illinois, and our friends at The Workforce Connection here in Rockford are, as always, ready to help.

If you're one of the many looking for the right job, you're invited to take advantage of the employer recruiting that will be held at The Workforce Connection, and the open testing for Adult Education/High School Equivalency (GED) classes at Rock Valley College.

Servicom will be recruiting at The Workforce Connection in Rockford on Wednesday, September 2nd from 9am to 11am to fill 100 positions at its Rockford office.

The Connection will be recruiting at The Workforce Connection in Rockford on Thursday, September 3rd from 9am to 12pm to fill customer services positions at its facility in Loves Park.

Other available positions are listed on The Workforce Connection’s website at www.theworkforceconnection.org . Among the employers on this week’s Job List are Leading Edge Hydraulics, Bridgeway, Landstar, Bon-Ton and Nationwide Inbound.

Rock Valley College is also announcing Open Testing for individuals wishing to enroll in Adult Education/High School Equivalency (GED) classes.   Open testing is available every Thursday from 9am-11am or 5:30-8:30pm at the RVC Stenstrom Center, 4151 Samuelson Road, Rockford.
