An emergency landing at Rockford Chicago International Airport was caught on camera.

It was a scary moment at Chicago Rockford International Airport less than a week ago when Allegiant Flight #1671 heading to Punta Gorda, FL had to make an emergency landing.

The flight originally left Rockford around 5:00 p.m., according to WIFRbut returned after reaching Mt. Morris due to engine trouble.

I don't know about you, but if I was in this situation, I'm positive I would have lost it.

I'd like to think I'm a good flyer, but the idea of something going wrong on a plane that I'm in while it's in the sky is terrifying to me.

One passenger, Celine Neumiller, posted a video of what she saw on the original takeoff.

At the very end of the almost minute and a half video, you can see flames shooting out of the engine.

SCARY!

Thankfully everyone returned safely.
