Discovery Center Has The Best Way To Get Rid Of Your Pumpkin

Old pumpkins can be kind of gross. They start to get soft, change colors, and let's not even talk about the smell.

Well, the Discovery Center has the perfect way to get rid of them and you can have a great time doing it.

Bring the kids and your putrid pumpkin to Discovery Center. Watch their giant catapult set the orange guy aloft and see your pumpkin turn to pulp on Sunday, November 4 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm. for the museum’s annual Smashing Pumpkins event.

The Discovery Center will be launching pumpkins using a trebuchet. Kids will learn some physics while having a great time. They'll even let the kids (and adults) make their own mini versions of a trebuchet so they can fling things all over the house. Great fun for all.
