Rockford IceHogs fans remember Corey Crawford's time here in Rockford very well. He played 145 games with the Hogs, from 2007-2010, before being called up by the big club. A familiar face downtown, he also found time to star in a local commercial for the Ice Hogs. Safe to say, in addition to stacking up Stanley Cup titles, Corey's got a good reputation for finding time for fans.

That reputation will grow even further when people get a look at Corey's recent visit with superfan Ben, a young boy who was born with a condition that makes it hard for him to use his arms and legs.

I'll admit to a serious case of the "warm and fuzzies" after watching Corey's interaction with Ben, Ben's babysitter, and a couple of Blackhawk teammates who showed up to give Ben a day he'll never forget.
