Boylan freshman swimmer Nhia Caras, who broke both the 50-yard and 100-yard NIC-10 freestyle records two weeks ago, set another conference mark in the IHSA swim meet this weekend.

According to the NIC-10 History Book list of state medalists, Caras is the first NIC-10 swimmer to break 24 seconds in the 50 free in an IHSA finals race.
