Authorities Looking For Help In Finding Next-Of-Kin

The Winnebago County Coroner's Office is asking for the public's help to find the relatives of a man found dead on a city street.

Officials say 52-year-old R.L. Purvis Jr. was found early Saturday morning in the 2000 block of Loomis Street in Rockford. An autopsy showed a preliminary cause of death to be cardiac-related, pending toxicology test. The results should be available in two weeks.
