Amy's Kitchen has recalled almost more than 70,000 cases of frozen meals due to possible listeria contamination. That's according to a release by the U.S. Food and Drug Association.

The voluntary recall was issued after the company was notified by a supplier that its organic spinach had a possible presence of listeria monocytogenes:

According to the FDA, the organism could cause serious and sometimes fatal in children and elderly as well as those with weak immune system. If infected, heathy people could see short-term symptoms such as high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhea. No illnesses have been reported, the FDA said.
