In the interests of full disclosure, I must tell you that I do not use my snooze button. It's mighty tempting, especially when your alarm goes off in the 3am hour, but having been burned once by using it, I gave it up. The last time I hit snooze, I actually hit "off" instead, and ended up being about 2 hours late (it would've been more, but our producer kept calling until I came around).

There have been several studies that show you're not doing your body any favors by adding 10-15 minute increments to your sleep. You wake up groggier and slower, thereby defeating any advantage you thought you might be getting by sleeping a bit more.

Well, if this start-up has their way, the snooze alarm may become ancient history:

I predict we'll see quite the uptick in people learning how to sleep standing up.
