A Deer Was Caught Swimming Around Lake Michigan

A man out getting his coffee saw something very peculiar in Montrose Harbor the other day. 

The deer was seen taking a little swim Tuesday morning in the busy Chicago beachfront.

Deer are decent swimmers but you usually see them in streams or small ponds in the woods not one of the biggest lakes in the world.

The deer seems a little spooked by the attention she is receiving but otherwise handles herself pretty well. The exit got a little dicey but she eventually made her way out and hopefully made it back to the woods before meeting a car.
