With the football season starting Friday and with all other sports to follow. Schools are all hoping for the dream state championship. Here is a look at the NUIC and state hardware in their trophy case. Top four finishes, first through fourth in all boys and girls sports.

Dakota and West Carroll (including before Consolidation Savanna, Mt Carroll and Thomson) lead with 15 state hardware each. Dakota has the most state championships with nine, and all since 2005.
