ROCKFORD, Ill. (AP) — Two men have been arrested and another two indicted by a federal grand jury in connection with a Rockford warehouse fire in January.

The U.S. Department of Justice says 51-year-old George Bacus of Niles and 37-year-old Jeremiah Clement of Des Plaines, were arrested and charged with conspiring to manufacture, possess and distribute 1,000 or more marijuana plants.

62-year-old Yousif Pira of Chicago and 33-year-old Justin Paglusch of Ingleside also were charged. Prosecutors say both men remain at large.

Rockford police said at the time of the fire that they suspected the warehouse was the site of a marijuana growing operation.

It wasn't clear if any of the men charged have attorneys.
